General Dentistry

  • Metal-Free & Mercury-Free Restorations:

We are committed to basing our practice on internationally recognized standards, incorporating metal-free and mercury free dentistry. We are committed to using only the finest biocompatible dental materials best suitable for your dentition and smile.

  • Endodontics:

Root canal therapy removes infected pulp tissue within the root chamber of the tooth. The hollowed-out tooth is filled with an antibacterial filling, and the tooth is “crowned” for protection should it be necessary to improve long-term success.

  • Paedodontics:

Paedodontics is the dental treatment of children. We at the Dental Emporium cater for children. We encourage parents to bring their children as from a young age. We have Cartoon Network available to ensure the children have a great time in the chair while visiting us. We offer fillings, gum guards, fissure sealants, minor orthodontic appliances, dentures, fluoride treatments, extractions and sedation dentistry for invasive procedures.

  • Oral Surgery:

Includes laser gum surgery, the removal of impacted wisdom teeth, crown lengthening to treat a gummy smile and recontouring of the gums. We offer sedation dentistry for patients that are anxious.

  • Dentures:

Dentures replace missing teeth. We will ensure optimal aesthetics. We offer acrylic (plastic) and chrome dentures. We also offer partial dentures for selective missing teeth and immediate dentures so that you do not have to walk around without teeth.

  • Bite Analysis / Temporomandibular Joint Analysis:

Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ, TMJD or TMD) involves conditions affecting the temporomandibular joint, jaw muscles and nerves on one or both sides of the head that result in jaw, face, and head and neck pain. The pain and discomfort caused by TMJ disorders may be severe, can be either intermittent or constant, and may last for many years.

TMJ conditions include:
•    Myofacial Pain. This is the most common TMD condition that involves discomfort and pain in the muscles that control jaw movement.
•    Internal Derangement. This TMJ disorder is associated with a displaced disc in the jaw joint, a dislocated jaw or an injury to the condyle, which is the part of the lower jaw that acts like a hinge.
•    Arthritis. This TMD pain involves degenerative and inflammatory joint conditions.
We will evaluate, diagnose and treat the condition to restore the quality of your life.
